Adi Bebo

This is Adi Bebo, in a dress that I designed for one of her programs in 2016. She was doing a baton program to music from ‘Game of Thrones’, the HBO TV series which has been a hit since it’s first airing in 2011.

When we started work on this dress we had a number of conversations about the color of the dress, and who she was most closely trying to portray.  Adi’s skin tone is just dark enough that the aquamarine colors look amazing on her and since this is a color that was used extensively for the costuming in ‘Game of Thrones’, it was our first choice. The addition of the necklace and the rusching at the hip area, continued that nod to the genre of medieval fantasy.

We both thought that the final dress, done in the bright aquamarine color, was the perfect addition to her program.
