Adi Bebo first came to me for a costume when she was just starting out with baton twirling. She was very young, but it was clear that she had a talent and a passion for baton. She has become, arguably, one of the best baton twirlers in the world, and it has been a joy to accompany her on this journey.
This dress, done in a light silver color with crystal AB (this is the standard silver stone with an AB coating – AB standing for aurora borealis, which gives the silver stone it’s multicolored appearance), light sapphire AB and a few sapphire AB’s added for good measure, has travelled the world numerous times. It features a single mesh skirt, and a flesh mesh midriff with lines of stoning that give a ‘corset’ look. This costume has thousands of stones which gives it a brilliant sparkle. Adi has worn it for national competitions, as well as International competitions, including Worlds. The dress has been featured in videos, articles and on numerous photo sites.
I doubt either of us would have envisioned the impact this dress was to make for Adi. It’s referred to simply as ‘that silver dress!’ and we all know which one is being referenced. She has worked tirelessly to improve her skills, and it definitely shows.
